A new brand of hotel, Zabeel House aims to fill the needs of adventurous, urban nomads seeking a well designed and interesting hotel with all the comforts of home. This artistic and youthful boutique hotel featuring 150 guest rooms, 3 food and beverage outlets overlooks the historic Dubai Creek with easy access to the Al Seef retail promenade.
GLSW resolved the wayfinding strategy and signage design for this new brand of hotel, providing design solutions that are as much a part of the interior design experience as the art in the hotel. Our scope stretched beyond signage into designing unique portraits, wall graphics, art, throw pillows and table tops.
The signage design was a mix of illustration, graffiti, artwork and retro elements. One of the most exciting pieces was the illustration of the map of Dubai that plays centre stage on the guest room ceilings.
