Dubai Harbour is the region’s largest purpose built cruise terminal and residential island, nestled between mainland Dubai and the Palm Jumeirah.
GLSW resolved a complete and integrated wayfinding strategy, taking into consideration a diverse set of users, operational protocols, local and municipal laws, maritime requirements and private developer coordination.
We concluded the signage design for all public realm areas (vehicular, pedestrian and marine circulation), facility buildings, operational buildings, harbour masters building, cruise terminal, marinas and various other ancillary assets.
The solution was a contemporary wayfinding and signage system, with multiple components, in a kit of parts that appropriately reflected the brand experience of an extraordinary seafront district, designed for a maritime lifestyle.
